David studied Law at University College Dublin and obtained a degree in Law and European Legal Studies. He then completed the LPC at Nottingham Trent University. David secured a training contract gaining experience in Immigration, family and criminal law.

David qualified as a solicitor in April 2009 specialising in criminal law and immediately gained experience of trial advocacy in the Magistrates and Youth Court.

David obtained his duty solicitor status in October 2009. He has dealt with large scale drug conspiracies, rape and firearms offences. He also has experience dealing with mentally disordered offenders.
